The Big Control

This is a high-octane script for a graphic novel titled "The Big Control." It follows two elite stuntmen caught in a real-life conspiracy while filming a gritty action flick.

THE BIG CONTROL

ACT 1: The Grind

Panel 1: Exterior. A gritty outdoor gym. JAX and LEO (two strong friends) are mid-grind. Jax is lifting heavy dumbbells, while Leo performs a military workout on the pull-up bars.

Jax: "Keep the pace, Leo. This full body workout isn't just for show." Leo: "Relax, Jax. Don't make this a competition."

Panel 2: Close up on Jax’s face. Sweating.

Jax: "It’s the army way. Discipline or nothing."

Panel 3: Interior. A bustling restaurant. The two friends are eating massive amounts of food.

Jax: "We start the action movie shoot later today. Are you available?" Leo: "Yes, no problem. I’m ready to beat him—whoever the lead actor is."

ACT 2: The Set-Up

Panel 4: Exterior. A movie set featuring a high-speed bus. The film director stands near the cameras. Stunt men are prepping a kick boxing sequence.

Director: "I need control! Total big control on this shot! Jax, you’ve got a good eye. Leo, keep that start eye on the horizon."

Panel 5: The scene goes wrong. Leo is on top of the bus. A police car screeches in, but it’s not part of the script.

Jax (into phone): "Wait, we got our signals crossed! Hit the brake!" Leo: "The registration on this car is fake! Jax, it’s a set up!"

Panel 6: Chaos. The director screams "Cut!" but the police aren't stopping.

Director: "This is interesting... but dangerous! Careful!"

ACT 3: On The Run

Panel 7: Jax and Leo have stole a car to escape the weak guys chasing them. They are driving fast.

Leo: "How long until we reach the border? We’re going to New Orleans." Jax: "We’re from New York, Leo. We don't know these roads. We need to stay brave."

Panel 8: Night. A neon-lit motel. Jax is in the shower, washing off the mess of the day. Leo is checking their credit cards.

Leo: "Everything is in order. But we need back up." Jax (stepping out): "I understand. We’re freelance now. Use anything within reach to defend this room."

Panel 9: A girl sits in the corner of the motel room—a witness they rescued. She starts to cry.

Leo: "Don't cry. We’ve got this under control. Under control."

ACT 4: The Final Stand

Panel 10: Exterior. A swampy shell of a building outside New Orleans. People are everywhere—henchmen.

Jax: "This isn't our first rodeo. You take the left, I’ll hit the right." Leo: "Thank you for the choice of the heavy lifting. What’s so funny?" Jax: "Just thinking about that barber I was supposed to see tonight."

Panel 11: A massive explosion. Action poses.

Jax: "Grab the phone! Call the real order!" Leo: "Ridiculous! There is no order here!"

Panel 12: Final scene. The sun rises. The villains are under arrest. Jax and Leo are sitting on the bumper of an ambulance, drinking coffee.

Jax: "Thanks for all of your help, Leo." Leo: "Me too, brother. Ready to go home?" Jax: "Yes. As soon as I find my dumbbells."
